So I just started to make webpages, really basic, but i just want to make it come up whenever someone enters in my ip address. i have cable so that shouldn't be a problem. i have windows xp pro. Really its just gonna be me at work trying to access it. Im just wondering what i gota do to get it so that it automaticly comes up. Oh and i'm also behind a router and firewall, so i just need to forward port 80 right?

thanks
bob

Isn't Apache a bit of overkill if all you want to do is have youself and a few friends access it? I used to use Tiny Web Server and it worked great, real easy to configure too. give it a try.

Maybe, but I dont know any other Windows software thats worth using for this. Suggestions (like the one you posted) can be great.
