I'm supposed to get a $50 MIR from XFX on my 8800GTS purchase. However, the company they are using to processes the rebate, rebatestatus.com, is saying they can't approve my rebate because:
"We did not receive an original serial number label with your request. The sales receipt you submitted did not demonstrate purchase of the product required for the rebate."
I'm not retarded. I sent in everything perfectly correct. The serial number cutout was tiny though, they probably lost it. And I send the invoice of the purchase from Dell. It's the best proof of purchase there is.
Has any dealt with these jerkoff's before? Rebatestatus.com says they are run by Continental Promotion Group at the bottom of their page. If I call and yell at them will can I turn this around?
