How do I get my iPad to sync with my MobileMe Calendar NOW?

There is no option to "sync now" on the iPad calendar. I think it syncs via intervals, which means I have to sit around and wait for it to sync when it pleases. How do I get it to sync on my command?

I don't have the 3G and I'm having to wait around at WiFi hotspots for it to sync.

MobileMe is set to Push in the iPad settings, but it sure takes a long time to Push...
