How do I get my hands on some Everclear (alcohol)

I was thinking I would like to try some. I live in California and it happens to be illegal. Maybe I'm just young and naive but I want to get me some.

Any ideas?

webtender says its letahal in jello shots. Maybe thats not such a good idea...

Everclear isn't sold in every state. I know it's not sold in NY but sold in NJ.

Friend of mine used to mix it with Mt. Dew.

I've had it in Jell-O shots. The trick is to take the amount of recommended water and cut it in half then use the other half for PGA. If you use all PGA instead of water, the Jell-O never sets up.

My dad has a bottle of 150Proof everclear. Do they make different varieties of it or is it jsut hella old? never tried it though. I always get a kick out of it when i read the "keep away from flame" warning labels on it.

Personally, PGA is 190 proof grain alcohol. If I want something around 151 proof, I'll pick up some Bacardi.

Laugh all you want, but when I really want to get rid of the thick crap that seems to collect in my lower throat every now and then, and coughing/swallowing/clearing my throat has NOT been working, one shot of this stuff usually takes care of it. If not one, two always works. I dont know if its the Everclear, the concentrated alcohol vapor in your throat , or the muscle reactions to taking the shot... but it works.

Oh, yeah, and if you want to shoot some of this sh!t... breathe in, not out, prior to drinking it straight. When you take a shot of it, you get a lot of alcohol vapor, for lack of a better term, in your throat. And if you try to suck in air after doing the shot, that goes to your lungs... and that is not a fun sensation.

EDIT: left out a negative. Which can be important

Back when getting wasted was my hobby, we would take everclear shots on occasion. Personally, I think 151 burns more.

It's more alcohol for less money. I don't drink that stuff, but it is readily available here in Maryland.

everclear isnt lethal in jello shots... i've made everclear jelloshots on many occasions...

just go to a different state and they might have it... that's your only real option if it's illegal in ca
