How do I get football stats???

A friend and I have been toying with setting up our own Fantasy Football program for next season.

I was just wondering what the best way to get the player stats is. Anyone here familiar with how it's done?

Just Perl script it and mine website(s) or what?

i was in a little fantasy baseball league. we got our stats from espn.com

as long as you use the same site all the time, you will be ok

Did you go there and look them up manually or did you have a program that did it?

I think sandbox.com (??) used to have a deal where you could run your own fantasy league there. A guy I used to work with used to put all his leagues crap in there,players teams etc, and set up the point systems etc and it did all the rest.

Or you can download software of the net try a google for some and just input the stats yourself from espn or nfl.com......
