The syrup is combined with carbonated water..so youd need carbonated water. Otherwise it would taste like flat coke.

go to the local coca-cola bottling plant.

they sell it in 1 gal. jugs.

you need to mix it with water & CO2.

If you want to make stuff like orange crush, just take orange kool-aid & add CO2.

Buy dry ice.

Buy Coke syrup.

Put Coke syrup into cup with water and drop in a chunk of dry ice.

*harmless

Drink it.

If too much/too little carbination then add less/more dry ice.

If too much/too little original Coke taste then add more/less water.

Homeade Coke.

:)

From the Coke bottling plant.

They get it to be carbonated by injecting carbon dioxide into it.

It's realitivly easy to make your own soda fountain, the most expensive part is the CO2 canaster and regulator, you can find them for about 100$ if you look, and a small canaster of CO2 will last all summer.

And.. you can carbonate anything you want.. kool-aid, pineapple juice, iced tea, or recarbonate your flat softdrinks. :)

Colt45 said you can get it at the bottling plant. (One is near me, hope one is near you)

At the fountain for any soda there are 2 tubes carrying liquid that end up joining at the fountain nozzle.

The 2 liquids are the syrup and the carbinated water.

Adding dry ice for homeade Coke is like carbinating the water in the cup.

Many bottlers don't sell their products direct to the public and of those that do, you'll need to buy a box of syrup - 4 1-gallon bottles. If that's the case in your area, check the phone book for restaurant & bar supply places. Many of those sell syrup.

At my theatre I decided to try the syrup without the water.. man it was so sweet it was rancid.. never ever drink that syrup by itself.. its like 3 drops or something for a LARGE coke that tells you how strong it is.

i have to refill those boxes at work (pizza place) they sell the boxes for like $60 for like 2 gallons or something.....and we go through a box a week, you could easily make it last months since you use nowhere NEAR the volume we use......just get a can of C02 and you're set......you could probably find a dispenser on ebay or something...:Q

Alright, damnit, someone now must mod their computer to include a coke fountain!

Anyone remember that giant gum they sold back in the late 80's or early 90's, where it was soda-flavored & had the syrup inside, like a Gusher? I think they had like 7-up and some kind of root beer & some other flavors (edit: 7-up, Cherry 7-up, Dr. Pepper) ...flavor disappeared nearly as fast as a Zebra Stripe gum stick, but it was sooooooo good while it lasted!

Edit: Sweet, the Internet to the rescue:

Never heard of those, but would be interested in trying them. If they were still available.
