How do I get Avast to stop buggin me

Little window pops up in the lower right hand corner of my screen and makes a sound and plays a voice file everytime the program updates. I can't figure out how to turn it off.

Also, when doing a system scan it stops everytime it thinks it's found and infected file. Would like it to just scan my whole system without stopping everytime it finds something. When I do a virus scan I don't want to have to keep an eye on it the whole time, just want it to scan by itself and leave a report for me.

right click the icon, select program settings, sounds, check "disable avast sounds"

as for stopping during a scan, check the stuff inder Notifications.. Ive never had it find a virus so Im not sure anything under there will stop it though.

I love the program, especially how it integrates with WHS and all connected machines, but damned if finding the settings for it ain't a pain in the ass. I have the sounds disabled--now I need to figure out how to reschedule the scan times. I'll stick with the program for sure though.
