Well, I just fried my Asus mobo. I was thinking about playing dumb and seeing if I can just get a replacement.
Should I call the number at Asus or go through the reseller? Also, what are the chances that I killed my cpu?
edit: According to my warranty info, they won't accept burned items. Do you think that covers my mobo? It has a burned trace. I'm going to bust out the soldering iron and see what I can do.
edit2: I jumped the fried trace with some jumper wire and then used some loctite to hold it all down. Everything running smoothly thus far.
