how do i get a password out of a cute ftp account?

I have a hosting account and I use ftp to connect to it. I forgot the password yet its in cute ftp. how do I see what the password is? is there a way to view it? its encrypted with *******.

Just get your hosting company to re-send you the password/welcome letter

See if there is an option to export the ftp accounts to a text file. I know some ftp programs allow this (BulletproofFTP for one) so you can move site lists between accounts and such. I don't have CuteFTP so I don't know if it allows this or not, probably does though. Just look for a way to export the site list or whatever they call it.
