I have a clip in bin formar, but I want to make a DVD out of it. Now can I simply use alcohol 120 to do this, or do I need to convert it over to mpeg?

Also, I have a DVD authoring program, but the file needs to be in mpeg, anyone know a good avi->mpeg converter?

To burn a bin file you also have to have a cue file for the bin, basically a text document that accompanies it. From what I understand they are relatively easy to make but I don't know how off hand. Then you just open nero ---> recorder ---> burn image ---> select cue file ---> burn.

I extracted the video file using Vcdgear, now how do I get it to be a DVD? I have TMPGEnc, a DVD authoring program, is that the thing to use?

I used TMPGEnc to convert it to DVD format. Where do I go from here? I used nero to burn the bin, and it didn't work, and I can't burn the converted file to dvd; what extensions am I looking for?

if it's just a single file then a quick way of doing it is just to run IFOEDIT then click dvd author then add your mpg in there & it will create ifo/vob files that you can drop into nero and burn as a DVD-VIDEO .

Do I need to run TMPGEmc first still, or do I just add any mpeg to it?
Or is TMPGEnc just used to bring it to DVD quality?

I ran Ifoedit, and it gives me 5 ifo files of 4gig size altogether, but when I add them to the Nero burn list, it says it's not playable....? I'm so lost.

EDIT: Nevermind, they're vob files, converting them to Ifo's right now. Also, there is a Video_TS and an Audio_TS folder when burning a new DVD, what are their functions?

I have now 5 vob files, and 4 smaller files, 2 of which are ifos. Now what is the next step? I put them all in the Video_ts folder in the nero menu, and it finally let me burn it, but it's not working in my DVD player at all.

Edit: It's playing in my new DVD player, but not on my PS2, plus I have no sounds, only if I fast forward, and then resume, do I get sound for a short time.
