i have built a dual cpu machine and i can only have one instance of UD agent open.

i look in task manager and it only is using 50% of the cpu.

how can i make it run two instances or otherwise make it use 100% of the total cpu power?

The UD client isn't a multi threaded program.. So, just like Seti there need to be 2 processes running.. Unfortunatly, the UD client can't be started more then once, not even after renaming, or whatever other trick..
I also have a dually working for UD and it's also working on just one cpu... So I combined it with Seti and running 2 different projects on one machine. But that's not what you want, otherwise you wouldn't ask this. The client checks if there are already processes running of the UD client, and quits as soon as it's detected with the message "UD process already running" or something like that. So if there is a way to rename the running processes, it might be possible.. otherwise, I really don't know..

sorry guys but at a follow up i found another way to do it, only with windows XP though

log on as 1st user, and run UD

log on as 2nd user, install ud into another dir

open taskman and set CPU affinity to CPU0 for the first process

switch users to 2nd user

open taskman and set CPU affinity to CPU1 for the second process

and you have 2 WU's crunching at the same time.
