How do I format my drive so I can go back to Windows 98?

I have Windows 2000 Professional installed on my computer right now, and I want to go back to Windows 98. I understand I have to format my drive, so I already backed all my files up. What is the command I want to type into DOS so it formats correctly. I have a Windows 98 boot disk that I made on a seperate computer, so that should work on this one, correct?

Thanks

what file system is the drive formatted with? FAT32 or NTFS?
if it's ntfs you will need to FDISK the drive and then format it. otherwise just boot off the a: drive and FORMAT C: /s

the /s puts the system files on the drive

Use FDisk to remove all of the partitions.
Reboot with the Win98 startup disk.
Use FDisk again to re-partition and format.
Install Win98...........Greg
