How do I format a secondary HD in windows 2k/x?p

u can right click on it and select format or if u need to create partition in computer manager under administrative tools
 
or you could always go to bootdisk.com and get a Windows 98 boot disk. Use that to boot your computer and you'll get to DOS. Format/fdisk/whatever you need to do just like normal in there
