I would like to have my Zip mount to a higer letter. Right now it mounts as F (after partitions C, D, E). Problem is Novell wants F for a volume. I would like to make the Zip take a high letter, i.e. T, so it wouldnt conflict for sure. I already have my CDROM mounted as S, but the option to mount as a letter is greyed out in the DeviceManager for the Zip, unlike the CDROM. Is there any way to make it mount as a different letter?

Thanks!

I think you need to figure out why is it greyed out for you, because it ain't greyed out for me.

But I don't have any sugestions on what you need to do to fix that.

What OS?

The reason the drive letter *may* be greyed out is because the drive letter is being controlled by Iomega's software (do you have that stuff installed?) If the software is installed, see if there is a way to change the letter. If not, try booting into safe mode and try to change the letter there.

Same problem with NT4 and SP6a installed.... just needed to throw a zip disk in the drive and then open disk administrator and changing the drive letters was fine (no Iomega drivers installed since I they sometimes (rarely) seem to crash my system for some reason).
