How do I flash my BIOS?

Yes, this is the ultimate newb question. I'm trying to flash my BIOS because I haven't in a year or so. I tried one method by formatting my USB drive and booting from there but it became quite confusing. Are there any ways to EASILY update my DFI X48-T2RS motherboard? If so can you thoroughly explain to me? Thanks guys.

Point a camera at it, make sure the flash is set to on?

Gillbot gave the right info BUT, you do NOT flash your BIOS just "because I haven't in a year or so." Does the new BIOS add functionality, stability or, fix an existing problem? If not, don't update the BIOS.

Thank you gentlemen. I'm going to look into Gillbot's post and MagnusTheBrewer, that's the sole reason why I want to update it. Hopefully it adds stability because Newegg discontinued my motherboard and I've already RMA'd it back once before.

Bootable update CD image for DFI DK X48-T2RS BIOS DD504:

Standard ISO file that should be compatible with any decent CD burning app. After creating the CD, you should find a README file on the disc for instructions.
