How do I flash my BIOS without a floppy drive?

My Q6600 G0 is reading 75C. I'm using the stock HSF with the Intel Thermal compound. I'm using an ABIT IP35 Pro.

Can someone tell me how I go about flashing the BIOS without a floppy? Can I use a flash drive or DVD?

You're right! I cleaned off the Intel Thermal stuff and put some AS5 on and re-seated the HSF and the temp is now down to 40C.

I do not like this new Intel HSF mounting system they came up with.

Also, the mobo came with the latest BIOS so that wouldn't have helped.

My initial thought was I didn't mount the HSF properly but I kept telling myself there's no way because I checked it over and over when I mounted it. Those little push things suck. It's hard to tell if they're in all the way. I felt like I was pushing too hard.

Yup...push-pin no good. Takes a lot of force to get them in. You should install/test outside the board. It's much easier to seat the pins against a firm surface.

Moi? Big Typhoon modded with 120 x 38mm medium speed Panaflo. It's only $18 for an open box special at NewEgg. Quite a few members are happy with this CPU cooler.
