Hello fellow ATOTers!

About 2 months ago my father crashed into steel pole at low speed and at angle. He left it to me to find a way to fix this...car is Dodge Intrepid 2001, Gold color.

How do I go about fixing it? What would it cost to replace whole panel over wheel? Or unbend and paint with similar colored paint?

Probably cheaper to replace the panel with some painted one off eBay.. or look for one at a junkyard.

Why is it your problem and not his?

Call your local junk yards. You just need a Gold Intrepid fender of the same year/model. It probably ranges a few years. Price depends. But you can always haggle with a junk yard. As for the door, I'd buff it a bit, but if you ever want it to look perfect take it to a shop and have them fix and blend the door with the new panel you get from the junk yard.
But for the fender you are probably looking at $100 or less depending on the junk yard and who pulls it.

Check out a new quarter panel...that one will have to be taken off to get fixed anyways, so why not replace the whole thing...

Just take something and pop it out. It probably doesn't effect the resale much at this point anyway.

Thanks for replies! I shall call the junkyards.

It's my "problem" because it is not my car, but when I drive it, it annoys me that ppl may think I bent the car - and I am so careful driver that I follow speed limits, signs, and don't go 30mph in parking lot...basically it just annoys me personally.
I don't pay for repair, I just have to find cheap way to fix it. Dad is fine driving in it like that.
