I updated to new drivers for my GF4 4200 and the bug's back! I fixed it with RivaTuner before, but the old version is incompatible with these drivers, and the new version i got simply doesn't fix it. So what do i do? I just got BF1942 and wanna play it, but the flickering is driving me insane!

1) Make damn sure you're using the 53 series drivers. The 52 series were complete crap.
2) Go into your display properties and click on advanced.
3) Click on the tab for your graphics card (it should say GeForce4 Ti 4200 or something like that).
4) In the little pop-out window, there should be an item called "refresh rate override".
5) Click it, choose "override refresh rates", and change the rate for each resolution. MAKE SURE your monitor can do the refresh rate you specfiy for each resolution. A safe thing to do is change your prefrerred gaming resolution and nothing else to 75hz.
6) Click ok. Click ok.
7) test it.

have you tried searching google for "60 refresh rate nvidia"

woohoo dont bother, you have the info you need now

Alright, i got through to that menu, but for some reason, the maximum it allows me to set for 800x600 is 85h! Even though it can do 100hz for as high as 1280x960! What's the deal here? I KNOW my devices support at least 100hz at 800x600! It works at 85 though, so better than 60, but i want my 100! 🙂
