How Do i fix my radeon 9800SE

My saphire Radeon 9800Se is giving me a lot of trouble. It is the one with 256bit. After trying to overclock. I get nothing but artifacts even i bought up. It looks like when you are powering on a NES with a dirty game on. Is there a way to fix it? or is my card just dead!

either put in a different video card and uninstall the soft mod drivers, or reinstall windows

you might have a heating issue. A few people with powercolor Radeon9800SE reported that after softmodding, their vid card would give nothing but artifacts even back at default settings. When they checked their GPU core, they found that the thermal past had completely "dissolved" or had been stripped away. Replace it with some arctic silver or similar paste and it might eliminate the artifacts. Also considering getting a better cooler than stock when you overclock.
