how do I find the pixel speed on a laptop lcd?

Its an Asus a1380. Its not mentioned in the specs anywhere.
Can you repair dead pixels? I have one that is always blue, and the other alwasys black.

Yes and no

If it is "dead" then you cant repair it. If it is merely not working, try rubbing the back of your screen gently in semicircles around that point.
