How do I find studs?

I want to hang one (1) picture, I'm not dropping $$ on a stud finder for it... but it's a heavy one, and I don't trust the sheetrock to handle it.

Yeah.... $5-9 at lowes or home depot will get you the electronic kind. Stanley and Black & Decker make good ones. Highly recommended....they beeep when they find one.

Electronic Stud Finder ... $10 at any hardware store

take one of those stud finder electronic tools... run it over your chest. if it says your a stud, you're a guy. if not, you're a girl... or have big man-boobies. FYI
