How do I find out who made this video card

I have a TNT 2 M64 ($20) that runs as long as no drivers are loaded (Win98) or if any load from Linux Mandrake 8.0 is placed on it (ie 600x480 16 bit or up). POST is fine and safe mode works. I tried the Detonator drivers from NVIDIA with no luck.
I see no FCC id.
It does have a serial number: BRD-005-E16-B on the front.
And on the back is a sticker with:
NVIDIA Corporation BRD-005-E16-B
TESTED TO COMPLY WITH FCC STANDARDS
FOR HOME OR OFFICE USE.

On another sticker on the back it has 44571-9cc-1922 DP/N0009629u Rev A00

I got some hits when searching for "9629u"... this appears to be a Nvidia TNT2 M64 of Dell origin:
