How do I find out if NetZero is v.92 compliant?

My cable internet backbone (Adelphia) is undergoing a complete overhaul and upgrade that will not be completed until the end of the year. As a result, my service has been slow and intermittent at best. I decided to pick up a modem and use NZ as a backup until they get everything worked out. I was planning on getting one of these new v.92 modems, but I don't know if they even support it, and would it be a waste of money?

The new standard modem should be compatable with the v.90 standard. Just like the V.90 standard was compatable with the X2 and K56Flex standards. V.90 was supposed to be the best of both X2 and K56Flex.

NetZero leases modem service from other providers. My company used to provide modem service to one of their wholesalers, 1stup.com before they went out of business. Maybe you can call up netzero and ask if their free service will be supporting v.92 anytime soon. Good luck with all that.
