How do I find my 25 number cd key in my registery for Word2000

Thanks for the help, how would I go about finding it in W95? I reformat often and lost the cd-key jewel case a couple months ago, and want to know how to get it so I can write it down. Thanks in advance.

One tip:

Next time you buy/aquire a serial numbered software package. Write the number in permanent ink on the(top) inner/outer circle of the CD. This has saved me hours of headache, figuring out which legal number goes with what disk.

Sorry, never looking into pulling serial numbers out of the registry so i can't help there.

Try a forum search for this question - I know there was a post on this in the last week. You use regedit.exe or other registry editor and use the edit > find command.

Unfortunately I've forgotten what you search for.
