how do i find cheapest flight if i don't care depart date?

i use expedia to see who has the cheepest then i go to the main website. why give your info to middle men when you don't have to.

i heard airline company don't sell you tickets directly . you will always need to go through travel agent. is that true?

Not true.

Some airlines like southwest don't use travel agents at all. You have to buy through them.
