Hmmm I think it's sort of funny the same people telling dezign to get over herself are the one's by the attention they give egging her on.
There is no doubt Dezign is a beautiful young woman, she is obviously a very social creature, and living a life many here could never be brave enough to try. Sure there are more beautiful women out there, or more talented....or possible Dezign could be the absolutely perfect someone for another...who knows and who cares if she tells us about her life and shares. If someone doesn't want to read, don't open a Dezign thread.....I find her stuff a lot more interesting than another Counter Strike geek post or what not.
As a young person learning about the world and what's out there, as opposed to staying inside, safe, with the latest EQ expansion pack....you run into risks and dangers. I have really pissed off the wrong people some nights and some nights I thought that was it for me. However, you get lucky and make it through or unlucky and then you don't really have to worry about it anymore

My point is that what I posted isn't all that outrageous, and is seen as quite acceptable as a YAGT on this board. What you posted has never been posted here before, and would be flamed to the teeth if someone asked it or something remotely similar on AT. Most YAGTs aren't all that "geeky." Most take subjects such as girls leading guys on, guys wondering if they should go on dates, etc.
Dezign's YAGuyTs are "So I know this BBoy, right, and everyone knows I love a babyfaced guy." And then she proceeds to describe every physical feature of this guy including his glistening pecs and that fact that his previous girlfriend was a ho. Then she goes on to describe 50,000 other things that we don't care about, and don't matter in the YAGT, but serve to feed her own ego.
That's really my only point.

That whole mention has to do with another member on ATOT....you need to relax and not be so defensive. Chances are if someone deserves a mention here I will post their username along with it.

like i said. you've put way too much thought ito this. i would also like to add that you spend way too much time on the forums, if you've seen that many threads and they're getting to you.
there's a difference between living life and repeating the same stupid mistakes over and over again. there's also a point in life when you have to grow up and handle your business. i seem to remember similar threads from a year or two ago. i wonder how her auditing of classes here at ucla is coming along, and what she's learned so far.
and there's also a difference between sharing a story, and telling everyone every story. i'm sure that we've all known a narcissistic drama-queen gossip-monger IRL.
she's a nice girl and everything, but it does get old. the constant whining of being broke while continuing to go out and party and waste money, and the complaining of psycho exes. you'd think that at some point it would click and she'd finally get it.

Let me explain something to you, I work from home, I play online here and get paid. Not such a hard concept to understand. Now even considering that I am here usually at least 8 hours a day, people have way more post counts than me. It is these types of people that get agitated that I can simply post and post and they HAVE to do another's bidding. Nothing here really 'gets' to me as that would be pointless....1) most people know they are wrong when they are posting crap, so letting that 'bug' you is stupid. 2) in all reality I know face to face 1/2 the stuff here wouldn't even be said...you have the so called e-thug (which those types love to claim of me) personality that these online tough guys like to hide behind....however their toughest 'deal' in life has been in 3rd grade pounding down some 1st grader that threw sand at them. However, my choice is only to read and respond or skip it, if I interact then it's something I care to comment on, if it's something pointless I leave it.
What I find interesting though is deep down (you possibly also) many here are trying to play the 'knight in shining armor' to Ms. Dezign, or clearly spew their jealousy of her life.
I am not sure what you mean by her auditing (that's her perogative....I knew of some rich kids that did that regularly....audited even twice then took the class for credit and an easy A), nor what you mean by the same things happening over and over again, that's life, have you lived it?
Your observation implied that you are aware of everything Dezign has done, plus are keeping a tally of it is one of your own creation. No one forces anyone to read posts here. You can clearly see a Dezign originated post, can clearly she the subject...so why read then? Are you hoping this is finally the thread she professes her undying love for you? She meets a lot of guys and you are also in California, so why not you?
Life is a situation of patterns, in my college years I dated the same types over and over....you had the nerds / little girls that would not do anything 'wrong' to save their lives, you had drama queens that over reacted to everything, throwing stuff...breaking crap, getting the police over your apartment about once a week, etc.
In college if you are the average person chances are money is going to be a huge issue if you enjoy life. You see and hear about all these new things, often times they are pricey, but they are life-changing events...so perhaps you blow rent on an attempt at it, possibly banking on getting way more than you 'invested' back.....it's the long shot that changes life and those that take them and succeed also succeed in p!ssing off those that just die through life.

I am sure this made sense to you when posted in a stupor. However I have never drank 'mad dog'....miller lite or guinness would be the two beers you'd see me with...and beer is about the only thing I drink. The times I was arrested will not ever make the show...not that I care either way.
Even when I 'rolled' with the wrong crowd I didn't do the hard stuff, esp. remy/hennessy/king louis nor the fruity alize, nor just drinking money crystal/dom whatever...still did just the beer. Sometimes Asti with the ladies or a red wine.
As far as knowing your problems I don't think any one individual could some it up....

when you're here you notice things about people. red's (old and great) sense of humor, geekbabe and fitness, zim and his beers, notfred and mill generally being pissed off at everything, you defending every girl, etc. dezign is just one of the characters in the drama that is ATOT, and regardless of when i check in, one of her regular threads are on the front page. it helps to kill time.

You a psych major? projection?
My first degree is unfinished at about 140 semester hours, still about 9 credit hours short of me either getting a Chemistry or Biology/Zoology degree....perhaps Microbio even those last few classes were the deciding factor...however that degree is worthless by itself, I wanted to go Comp Sci and UF told me they wanted me in Pharmacy. I was originally on a med school then pharmacy tract, lack of free time in my youth vetoed the former, and watching a highly paid pill counter yawn / be bored to death got me disenchanted by the latter. I was accepted prior to my A.A. degree for Pharmacy school I sort of knew my stuff well.
Then I worked a long time in banking and decided to go for Computer Science (B.S.) as I wanted to get a Bachelor's out of the way.
I defend more than the women here. I have even defended those I have gotten into crap with. You see I don't base my emotions or thoughts on what a person has done, unless that shows what they are doing is a repeat. I don't base an opinion I will have on something based on who posted it. I was even one of the first to complain when Millenium got banned even though I know it was troll-like his post that got him the ax....it was to me not right that others got to say similar things without penalty. Now he enjoys taking his pot-shots at me, but that's par for the course.
I will admit my adding to most threads here has gotten me I think dubbed as a know-it-all or whatever....but like you I enjoy spending my day just reading and working, that may change soon....I get paid a lot of money to really just sit here all day and make sure a few things get done, I can make a lot more money though I am exploring that. I have simple needs really...I could get by with web access, a case of beer and a chick by my side. However, that chick wants things and if I am going to be having to travel to Japan and back 2 or so times a year plus so other things discussed I need to see some more money.
The thing that upsets me the most is not myself getting flamed...I grill myself quite regularly and laugh about it, I feel comfortable in knowing that some people will get me, other's won't....it's the way it goes. I have basically put myself on the line here many many times....almost complete play by plays, etc. I don't make claims that I was KGB, a doctor, working on Top Secret files for the pentagon....I just read too much then do what I read, I stick my nose into too many places it doesn't belong either getting myself into someone's bed or someone wanting to put me into a permanent one....along with a sort of back-burner desire to be beyond strong and fight capable which has diminished now that I am not in nightclubs all the time.
What get's to me is all the other people having to go through the garbage....too many what goes on here is a part of their lives....I suppose it is for me as well, but I am a realist when it comes to the unfairness life is.
