How do I enter numbers in WinDVD?

Maybe a little out of topic but how do you enter the numbers on the Terminator II Ultimate Edition in WinDVD. I want to enter the code that enables the "Special edition". When I enter numbers on the number pad, I only change the chapter. It works fine in Cinemaster.

Can you push a button and get a remote to come out? I am not too familiar with WinDVD.

Yes, you can click on "expanded view" to get to a display with more buttons. You can change angle, navigate menus etc. There are also the buttons 0-9 that can be pushed and a deny and accept button to accept the numbers. But when I push say 2, then 3 I change the chapter to 23. I had the same problem with the bonus disc to Nightmare On Elmstreet where you are supposed to enter a number to watch a bonus movie.
