Using the 30.82 driver, and I'd like to see V-Sync option in the D3D tab, which someone told me was possible....is there something I'm supposed to add to the registry?

With the 40.xx drivers its under Direct3D settings, then the "More Direct3D" button, I think it was the same with the 30.xx

Uninstalled the 30.82, then installed the 40.72, but still, as always, the only thing in the D3D tab was the Texel bar. I even deleted the Nvidia folder from registry before installing 40.72 to give clean install.

Why am I not seeing the V-sync option in D3D? Any thoughts?

Well I know for sure its there for me with my 40.72 drivers, under Direct 3D I have AA settings, mipmap settings, and there is a "More Direct3D" button for me, which opens a new window which has Vsync.

Okay, finally I understand why - out of the mouth of an Nvidia driver writer: "...those are not features inherent in any of our drivers, beta or otherwise. Users of NVmax and other similar tweak utilities may find a configuration expansion as a result of registry modifications bleeding over from one driver install to the next. But utlizing our drivers alone, you should see only the Texel Adjustment Bar in 'More 3D' options."

Nothing is sweeter than having your sanity confirmed. Having never used NVmax, I know now what I see is what I SHOULD be seeing.

Time to go pick up NVmax, I guess...!
