How do I enable TV Out on a ASUS Ti4400?

download the latest drivers and utilities.

The utilities are NOT bundled with the drivers, so if you haven't downloaded anything extra, you probably need to do so.

The composite/svideo out usually won't work unless it is connected DIRECTLY to the TV. It can't pass through a VCR, media switch, anything like that.
 
For ATI cards, the process is:

1) Connect cable from video-out port to video display device.
2) Go into Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, Displays, and click the button next to TV.

The important bit is that it won't work unless the cable is already connected.
 
does the S-Video only do video? or do i not need an audio cable.

Im trying to do this through a laptop and is it possible to do atleast a 5.1 or do i need something like the audigy 2 external adapter
