I am at work...and for what ever reason they disabled every computers R mouse button...so I cannot "save target as"

now it only opens the Power Point in the same window...

any way of gettting around this ? I have tried to keyboard work around for R mouse click but that didn't work

I am not trying to do anything naughty...even though I am not sure what the hell you could do with the right mouse button...but they have there reasons i guess

thanks in advance

leeland

ps i can't get to the Run line to get into regedit either....they have it disabled only when in Internet Explorer on...I am assuming that it is so users don't download music and other stuff

Use the key inbetween the right windows key and right ctrl key after you've tabbed to the link. See if that allows the properties popup dialog.

I have no right click
no "File" in any menu,
no shut down option,
can't Ctrl-alt-del
No My computer
no control panel
I click start and it goes right to "programs" I don't get any other options
Can't use IE until I open a window, which is intended to let us use it as a "File manager" lucky for me IE is embded into XP.
Can't even use Notepad or Calcuator.

You think YOUR IT department is bad.

I'll never talk bad about my IT Dept. again! We have the hook up, near-admin rights. And if you know the right people... ;)

You mean you can't right click a link in IE to say "Save As"? Doesn't shift-click do the same thing? I haven't used IE in forever, so I don't remember for sure, but I think it does.

your right that will just open what ever you have selected in a new window...what i am looking for is when you click on a link...to be able to save it to the HD...they have disabled R click on the mouse when you are online...thus I can't save anything to the HD...
