How do I enable SPDIF on my Audigy + Power DVD

Hi,

I'm a newbie to computer multimedia and i was wondering how I enabled SPDIF on my sound blaster audigy. MY powerDVD isnt detecting it and I want to get my 5.1 audio. Can anyone help me please! If I select 6 speaker output it works but I get cracks amd pops so I want to get my 5.1. thanks!

In PowerDVD 4, go into Configuration, audio, and in audio output select use spdif.

Thats it.

It says when i go to information on my power dvd that SPDIF is not detected....
