how do i enable smooth scrolling

I know you can set up your display to smooth-scroll, but cannot remember where to set it..?
I'm running win 2000

I dont believe there is an option in windows. HOwever the Option in Internet Explorer lies in Tools/Internet Options/Advanced.

You might be thinking of smooth edges of screen fonts whic basically applies AA to the edges of the fonts... a total waste... but that is under desktop properties.

okay... i was actually most interested in activating smooth scrolling for my browser (Fitefox). I have checked the option under tools>options>browsing>smooth scrolling, but it doesn;t act any different...!
