How do I enable lage Hard Drive Support in Windows 2k?

I've got a 200gb and 160gb HDD that both show up as 128GB. How do I enable Windows 2000 pro to support larger diskdrives? I looked in the "computer management" tool and couldn't find anything, did I miss something? Here is a Screenshot of what I am looking at.
Disk 0 is the 160gb drive and Disk 1 is the 200gb drive. I know it is unformatted, I was hoping to format it after I get this problem fixed. I am also aware that I may have to format disk 0 in order to get this working, I am fine with that

Any help out there?

Link. Get SP3 or higher, there's no reason not to have SP4 anyway. The doc says you'll need to make the registry change anyway though.

Thanks for the link! I got it working. I have one more question, if I were to format c: would it reconize the large disk or would it only reconize 128gb?

Easy solution is to use an add in PCI IDE card.

Didn't know this was even a problem? I have a 500Gb RAID 0 setup, and windows 2000 pro, and I had no problems with it recognizing it all? I have SP4, but even after a reinstall of windows when I first got the drives, I think it recognized them all. Maybe not, but either way, SP4 should sort this out.

If you formatted the C: drive then it would go back to only recognising 128gb.

You could probably do the registry fix and use a third party app like Partition Magic to then resize the disk to its full capacity.

On the other hand, your best bet is to create a small 10-20gb C: drive for the OS, install, run reg fix, then partiton the rest of the drive as D:

That way you can keep your data seperate from the main OS and use the whole drive.

Apart from you STILL have to EnableBigLba in the registry.
