How do I enable DMA for my HD on the Promise controller

Win2k w/ Promise drivers

I have enables it for my DVD drive but how do I do it for the HD on the ATA100 channel?

the promise driver is programmed to use all devices in their most optimal configuration. Therefore, if DMA is available for that particular device, the driver will use it.

My DVD software (ati dvd) detects dma is not being used? Any suggestions?

The Promise chips always use DMA. You don't have to tell it to.
