They already know what you have to ask, that's why they don't have an email address;)

If it's a legitimate question. Just write it in this thread. They see everything...:)

I'm not trying to bash the mods, but I made a post this morning about religion. It was tasteful, there was no negative statements or anything of that nature in the post. And it was deleted simply because there other religious posts on the board.

There are similar posts on this board every day of the week, I don't understand why a post would be locked because of similarity as long as its not the exact same topic. If you lock every post thats similar to another one, then you might as well censor everything.

It was locked because it was redundant and it was also about ready to erupt into flames.

Religious topics have been covered extensively on this board. Maybe your topic was one that was discussed previously.

I think they are inconsistent.

I started a thread called "Voyager Spoilers: I married a Dildo" that got deleted. Not just locked but deleted.

The title was a little on the racy side but the topic inside was clean. It was about the Doctor being married to a human.

Anyways, I've seen other topics that I consider more offensive (like kiddie porn) that weren't deleted or locked.

If you don't want your threads locked or deleted then don't post Provacative Titles for the thread.

Look in the thread they usually explain why the thread is being locked or deleted here is yours!

I'm sure you have but I need a topic.

I've been kinda thinking about this for a while and it does'nt make sense.

I can't understand why or even how we're supposed to follow the guidelines in the bible if:

1. We were born sinful
2. We have to contend with Satan tempting us
3. The things we're not supposed to do are so enjoyable

It's kind of a contradiction, has anyone else had similar thoughts

I'm sure that this can be discussed in another one the the current threads regarding religion.

Their comments are in BOLD

Don't take this as an attack or disrespect but:

Why would'nt you take action against the people flaming a perfectly legitmate post as opposed to locking the post of a person asking a honest question

Secondly the particular question that I had was unique depsite the fact that there were other religious posts

It just seems a bit unfair

I also bet it was muc easier for them just to lock that thread than to deal with all those who would have been involved with the flames. Kind of like an ounce of prevention. Nothing against religious threads but this was a sure fire trouble thread. I think that the Mods made the right decision.

Maybe so but for the person with the locked thread it feels like you're being targeted. And then you see other people with posts thats kinda on the shaky side, it just makes you wonder

Yeah, bunky, I noticed that you're the only one who's ever had a thread locked.
