How do I edit a .swf file

I was told to edit a .swf file for work so that the animation stops after 15 seconds. I have no idea how to do this, but because I'm not retarded with computers they assume I know flash. They even bought flash and put it on my computer so I can help do things like this. I'm kind of in a bind. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hey Roman, might be the wrong forum but I'll give it a go anyway.

The ability to end it depends on if the person that created the swf (Shock Wave Flash) file checked to stop others importing it.

If they did there isn't much you can do I doubt, if they didn't though it should be simple.
