How do I do this ...? (USB/Audio Switches)

I need to share two USB devices (a keyboard and a mouse) between two computers, video is NOT required (my monitor has DVI and VGA inputs and can easily switch between them ... one of the machines I am using will be DVI, the other VGA). All the USB KVMs I've looked at have received terrible reviews ... the Belkins and the IOGears both don't seem to handle special features on keyboards, problems with booting because the keyboard is not detected, etc.

I ran into what looks to be a simple solution, a Belkin 4-port USB switch (seen here). If I bought this and plugged a USB hub into it could I share my USB mouse and keyboard with these two machines with no problems? Is there a better solution for me than this?

I also need to share two soundcards with one set of speakers. Any recommendations on that?

Any help that can be provided is much appreciated. Thanks!

No idea about the keyboard and mouse thing.

For the speakers though, I use one set with both my rigs. I just got a $4 cable from RadioShack with 2 mini-jacks (like headphone jacks, the small ones), one on each end. One end to the line out on my secondary rigs sound card, the other to the line in on my primary rig. Works like a charm.

USB hub not gonna work. I've had decent luck with my Linksys Proconnect, but it's PS/2 so you'd need adapters. If you're looking for USB+Audio, you might reconsider the Belkin's. They have some new USB+Audio models coming out that might be better.
