I have programs that start from some unknown point... can't find them in the registry and they are not in the startup folder...any ideas?

You can just grab msconfig.exe from 98 and use it. It's functionality isn't complete like it is in 98, but it works fine for what you want.

I am finishing up my Win2K installation on my Dell notebook right now (so glad to be rid of ME).

Is this a simple addition to Win2K registry? Which MSCONFIG files and exactly where (please)?

Thanks, freeware - always good. :)

I guess since it works with NT, it will work for 2K(?!). It doesn't mention Win2K.

I heard about this at the Dell Support Forum but can't find my link now.

FYI findfast is installed when you install MS Office on your system. To remove it, run the setup program again and unselect it.
