How do I distinguish between a B3 and a G0 Q6600?

Got some new computer parts coming in from newegg and I wanted to OC the Q6600 to 3GHz. I hear there's no guarantee you'll get a G0 from newegg. How do you tell the difference?

If it ends up being a B3, I think I'll send it back for a refund and order from elsewhere. What sites guarantee G0s?

Most Q6600 shipped now are the G0 stepping, if your CPU is labelled with SLACR, then it is G0.

In the event that yours isn't a G0, I believe ClubIT guarantees G0s. They used to anyway, when that revision was new.

Just wanted to second that ^^. I bought my Q6600 from Newegg about 6 weeks ago; I got a G0. Good luck.

Are you for real... taking a 15% restocking hit just for a minor stepping difference?
