How do I disable the START (windows) key?

Hi all..

Like many of you, I have one of these keyboards with the stupid WINDOWS key on it (inbetween CTRL and ALT) and i keep accidentaly striking it during gaming, and it always brings me back to desktop. It's extremely annoying. How do I disable it?

How does this happen? I hear about it all the time, but I game all the time and have never found this to be problematic.

I remove the key from the left hand side. Why not the hack? I still use the one on the right. I wasn't aware of a hack to just kill off one or the other...

I love my windows key, I would never want to disable it. I feel like a 3 legged dog trying to bury a turd on a frozen lake when I am working on a computer without one.
