How do I disable "network cable is unplugged" message

RU482

I've got a tablet PC running winXP. The dock for the tablet has a USB to ethernet adapter implemented into it. Every time I undock the tablet, a beige bubble pops up above the ethernet icon (on the taskbar) saying "network cable has been unplugged".

Does anyone know how to prevent this popup from occuring??

Start > Settings > Network Connections > Right click properties > the NIC giving you issues > uncheck "Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity"
