How do I disable DMA in WinXP?

When I try to read an image from my dvd player in CloneCd nothing happens. I remember when I had win98, I e-mailed the tech support and they told me to disable dma and that worked. I can't remember if I disabled in win2k, but I think I did. Now I can't find the option to disable it in XP. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm also curious if others with a similar setup have problems with DMA and CloneCD:

Mobo: Asus P3V4X (Via Apollo 133a)
Toshiba 12x dvd
Plextor 8/4/32

Are you using the lastest Via 4in1 drivers? I once had a cdrw that wouldn't work when DMA was on. It was caused by my old FIC503+ motherboard being so suck ass. I fixed the problem by using a promise IDE controller
