How do I direct connection a Win98 Computer to a Win2K PRO computer with an RJ45 Cable?

I'm pretty much clueless as to how to do this...any help? I have no Ethernet hub. Both of us have NICs though. Does Win2K PRO have winipcfg? Does it have Msconfig?

You need to have a crossover cable if you have no hub.

u'll definately need a cross-over cable if u don't have a hub, there's no other way.

WinMe and Win2k both have an equivelent of winipcfg, it's ipconfig and if u need more info, use ipconfig /all

WinMe has msconfig, but i don't know about Win2k, cos i don't have it
