How do I determine a collection agency based on the code in a FICO/credit report?

Hello,

I had a bill go into collections, and it has since been paid. However, the negative mark is still on my credit report. I"d like to call the collection agency and ask for it to be removed.

All I have is the code for the agency so I'm having a tough time finding a phone number. The agency code is "682YC04711" if that helps.

Any ideas?

Why? Just tell the report company that it is a bad listing. They will have to look into it. If the other company says you still owe then the report company will write you and tell you their name and such. If they don;t write back then it will be removed.
