How do I delete private forums? (Solved)

After creating private forums, how can I delete the ones I don't need?
E.g. I created a private forum named "Bwuahahaha", and there doesn't seem to be a way to delete it.

Thanks, and sorry if I missed a public service announcement on this.

Zuni has said in a recent thread that a feature to delete private topics does not currently exist. It may be added in a future release of Fusetalk, but that has not been confirmed at this time.

jliechty, ok, thank you.

P.S. How can such a feature not exist?! :Q. Who implements a software to create items but not to delete them 😉

actually thats incorrect.

You can delete each and every message in private topics that YOU own, you can also remove yourself from participating in a private topic at ANY time. Look and you will see.

Excellent! Did you add that recently, or am I blind? 🙂

Ah, excellent. I deleted the only message in that private forum, and the forum disappeared.

Very counter-intuitive, but works nonetheless 🙂
Maybe there should be a little note saying "Delete all messages to have the forum automatically deleted"?

So in order to get rid of the thread, you have to manually delete every post one by one? And if you remove yourself from the participation list, who controls it then? Can anybody else ever be added or removed?

You as in who? If the originator isn't part of the thread anymore, they don't see it in their list? Do they have to have a direct link to the thread, which they can still see even though they aren't a participant anymore, and then the originator can still edit the threads?

Deleting the last message removes the thread, which makes sense. If there are no messages there is no thread. At any time you can add and remove users from your thread (except for yourself) by editing your post or replying. At any time you can remove yourself from the topic (except the originator).

If this isn't what you are trying to say, elaborate.

Your first explanation just wasn't clear. I thought the originator COULD remove him/herself from the thread, leaving it without any owner, but didn't get that any user could remove himself from the thread.

Yes you can add and remove users anytime

Forgive my ignorance Zuni, but I have a thread in Private Topics that I would like to add a user to, how does one do that 😱
