The thing keeps logging me in automatically not to mention to the wrong account which is pissing me off. So how do I delete my .NET passport ?

Log in to Hotmail, click help, search for 'close', one of the hits will tell you how.

That's not exactly what I want to do, I want to keep the hotmail account but delete the info from the machine that it's on which was only temporary.

I tried unistalling and reinstalling messenger but the account info is still there, there must be a easy way to delete the .net passport.

Go to the control panel and click on users (or something like that). You should be able to change it in there.

In the registry, you could also try deleting IdentityName related to the email address you use for WinMsgr in one of the MessengerService folders (can't remember which one). Not completely sure that it will work, tho', I'm going off something I heard somewhere. Then the next time you logon, just make sure not to check the box to sign you in automatically.
