How do I delete adware dll's?

Windows XP - is not letting me delete some clear adware dll's. They are being used - and Norton Internet Security - allowed them on - and isn't helping me get them off. What do I do? Thanks.

Thanks - I had thought that Norton Internet Security stopped the install of this - it only identified 3 files - I ended up using Hijack This - to get the out of the registery where I was able to delete a few of them.

I ran Adaware - and it scooped up over a hundred! I thought the whole point of Norton's Internet Security - was just that - and my problem was only those three files.

Norton Internet Security isn't designed to identify or stop spyware from installing. Spyware/malware are not considered viruses and therefore they frequently slip by your defenses undetected. If you run ad-aware or spybot S&D (or both) on a weekly basis .... updating before each use, you'll be able to keep your system running fairly smoothly. Don't discount Norton .... it does its intended job adequately. (Its not the best, but its still one of the best.) You simply need to add an extra layer of defense. Ad-aware and/or Spybot helps there. Consider downloading and installing Java Cool's SpywareBlaster. Its freeware and keeps malware/adware from installing in the first place.
