Hello,

I would some help with creating a VPN that would allow me to be able to access my network from over the internet for when I travel. I would be most grateful for some suggestions and help with this. I currently have a high speed cable connection, and use a Belkin 54g wireless Cable/ADSL Gateway router.

If there is any more info that I need to provide just let me know.

Thank you in advance :)

May I suggest OpenVPN, SSL Explorer, or an SSH server to handle your needs.

If you want something a little more industry standard, then an IPSEC tunnel would be perfect. For that I use m0n0wall, as well as a router.

It's the easiest way to create a VPN network. The only problem is that you're limited to 14 computers per virtual network (last time I checked) and their servers are down often (last time I checked). I don't know if they improved the uptime.
