Hey, Guys,

Awhile back I created an Emergency Repair Disk (floppy) for Windows XP Home. I need to create a new one for a friend's machine I'm working on, and I don't remember how to do it. Can someone tell me where to click to get the ball rolling?

Thanks in advance.

You could download an ISO image of RC here and not have to worry about making 6 floppy discs. Just burn as a disc image and boot from the CD directly.

No, not trying to get into the RC right now. Just want to create a floppy like I did awhile back, in case I ever need an emergency repair disk again. (I did need one recently when trying to do a repair installation of Windows after the MBR got scrambled somehow -- at one point in the repair process, it said I needed an emergency repair disk to continue. I had one that I created for my machine awhile back, but not his. Hence I thought I'd go ahead and create one for his machine in case something like this ever happens again.

I also remember that it was ridiculously easy to create. Just a few clicks and a minute or two ... it all went on one floppy. Dang if I can remember where to click to get started though.
