I have a legit copy of Office 2000 that I can't copy with Nero %--I assume it's some advanced copy protection scheme? It hums along fine until it reaches 51% done, then barfs...

Anyone know a way around this, or have some good links for me?

TIA! Dave

I used Clone CD and it worked fine.

I didn't even have to check "Read subchannel data (audio)

Using Copyright Protection Detector, my student editon of Office 2K Premium didnt show up as using any protection.

You could try Clone CD though.

Thanks guys...

Yeah, I'm surprised Nero 5 won't handle it. I could check out clone CD, but don't want to drop $49 to use it....any other ideas?

Thanks AMB.

Well, I tried CloneCD, tried Nero again, and nothing. I'm starting to wonder if I have a bad CD here--there is a smudge on it--but I kinda doubt that.

Sigh--Would that computing wasn't such an enormous time suck. :(

Office 2000 doesn't have any form of copy protection. I have made a copy of mine using Adaptec with absolutely no problems.
